Honestly gay marriage should NOT be a governmental decision, it is a PERSONAL choice. If 2 people love each other they deserve to be together. You do not need to be a straight man or woman to know what LOVE IS - remember that. Please stop arguing that children need to grow up in a home with a mother and a father when nearly half of American families live in single parent homes (due to divorce, poverty, crime, death, etc.) LOVE is LOVE no matter how you put it. You love your dog, you love your parents, friends, food, 2 men & 2 women can love each other. PLEASE, ALLOW EQUALITY FOR ALL.

Just read that Romney wants to stop FEMA & put a stop to the federal government giving aid to the states for disasters. He’s already lost the vote of single women, really all women for his view on abortion, anyone who watches PBS & most likely now will lose over 50% of the East Coasts votes after Sandy strikes us.
So tell me, what the fuck is the point of being part of a country if members of our government aren’t willing to assist us in our times of need? In the words of Bill O’Reilly who I despise, Mitt Romney is a “pinhead.”

I see the lights soaring upward from my house here in New Jersey every year around the anniversary of 9/11. It’s the most bittersweet image I think I might ever see in my entire life. Through each of the 88 light bulbs casting above into the sky for each tower, you see the souls and lives of each life lost on that tragic day and the days that followed. My heart goes out to all of the lives lost, and the families who were affected by this tragic day, as well as America, for 9/11 changed all of our lives forever.

9/11/01 - NEVER forgotten.
I bet you remember the exact moment you were when the unfortunate events of September 11, 2001 took place. I know I do. I was in my 3rd grade classroom, in the morning, when the 2nd plane flew over my school & the whole building shook. We had no idea what it was, until families were coming to pick their kids up, screaming “2 planes hit the Twin Towers!” It was chaos, considering I live 20 minutes away from NYC in New Jersey, where I was once able to see the Twin Towers standing tall from my town. I’ll never forget this day, and the days, months and years that have and will continue to occur from this days events. May all the victims of 9/11, whether it be in New York, PA, DC, etc, may you all rest in the sweetest peace.
Now, do you remember where you were at this time?
I’m not surprised. that Casey Anthony was proven innocent. The doctors who murdered my father got away with it too. Oh how much of a shitty feeling it is.
