Today I was sitting alone on the shuttle at school. I haven’t been having the greatest day to say the least, so I decided to just listen to music & clear my mind. After awhile I began to smell a cologne that I recognized, but couldn’t remember where I had smelt it from (mind you, I was still alone.) After a few minutes passed, it hit me: I was smelling my dad’s cologne. Even on my darkest days, he still has a way of showing he’s with me. Love you dad. RIP.

She gave them the following exercise to perform: She had the children take a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stomp on it and really mess it up, but do not rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty it was. She then told them to tell it they’re sorry. Now, even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind and that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. That is what happens when a child bullies another child, they may say they’re sorry but the scars are there forever. The looks on the faces of the children in the classroom told her the message hit home.
Reblog if you’re against bullying!

A number doesn’t tell the world how many lives you’ve touched. A number doesn’t tell the world what your passions are. A number doesn’t tell the world how your eyes sparkle when you smile. A number doesn’t define you.
Hello I'm Presley. I'm 20 years old and from New Jersey. Double major in education and English, but a musician at heart. I've come to the realization that not all smiles mean happiness and not all hearts are warm. In life, we all go through different experiences & hardships that shape us into the person we will eventually become.
