You have suffered enough and warred with yourself it’s time that you’ve won.

Sometimes the person you’d take a bullet for ends up being the one behind the gun.

Today I was sitting alone on the shuttle at school. I haven’t been having the greatest day to say the least, so I decided to just listen to music & clear my mind. After awhile I began to smell a cologne that I recognized, but couldn’t remember where I had smelt it from (mind you, I was still alone.) After a few minutes passed, it hit me: I was smelling my dad’s cologne. Even on my darkest days, he still has a way of showing he’s with me. Love you dad. RIP.

Curiosity killed my innocence. Over thinking killed my happiness. Insecurities killed my self-esteem. Lies killed my trust. And judgement killed me.

Hurricane Sandy: Coming together.

This past week, Sandy rocked my house here in New Jersey, and the surrounding towns/state, as well as parts of New  York and Connecticut and other states on the East Coast. It brings tears to my eyes watching celebrities come together to benefit everyone affected by Sandy, including myself.

Although I lost power until late last night, endured some damages on my home and have not been in touch with anybody in my family that lives down the shore near Seaside Heights, I am thankful to still have my home standing on its foundation. & it saddens me to hear people making remarks like “Sandy finally took out the diseases Snooki brought into it” and what not, Seaside is NOT just a place where people partied, that was broadcasted on tv, etc, it was a place where families like my own came together and made memories. So please, save your disgusting comments for your mind - have some respect.

Stay strong - stay JERSEY STRONG.

A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying

She gave them the following exercise to perform: She had the children take a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stomp on it and really mess it up, but do not rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty it was. She then told them to tell it they’re sorry. Now, even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind and that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. That is what happens when a child bullies another child, they may say they’re sorry but the scars are there forever. The looks on the faces of the children in the classroom told her the message hit home.

Reblog if you’re against bullying!

My professor gave our class really great advice today.

He said that while some people may fail, there’s nothing wrong with failure. As long as you know that you tried your hardest, that counts for something, but you must be resiliant & turn right back around & try again, otherwise the negative affects of failure will arise.

WEAR YELLOW IN SUPPORT OF SUICIDE AWARENESS DAY. I blurred my face because I didn’t feel as though an individual face is needed to show awareness. We are all human.

Love Your Scars.

So upset.

Last night, I left one of my guitar on the side of my house when I was unpacking the car, forgot to bring it inside. Somebody stole it. Yes, it’s my fault it got stolen, but why couldn’t the person just ring my bell & return it like a good human being?! :’(

anyone want to talk?

:/

Don’t call me when you’re drunk, cause if I’m not worth your time sober, you aren’t worth mine.

Hello I'm Presley. I'm 20 years old and from New Jersey. Double major in education and English, but a musician at heart. I've come to the realization that not all smiles mean happiness and not all hearts are warm. In life, we all go through different experiences & hardships that shape us into the person we will eventually become.
RIP Dad & Grandpa <3 I love & miss you both.
